In Italy everything is culture. The food. The architecture. The people. Making more than 2000 kilometers with a rental car on this boot-shaped peninsula left impressions I will never forget. Starting in Milan, the adriatic coast was up first, passing Rimini and Ancona. Take your time to explore Rome (the eternal city) and Vatican of course. Pisa and Tuscany are worth visiting – make sure to stop in Florence – and yes, Venice is really as beautyful and romantic as you expect it to be.
